About Andreas Hürlimann

Andreas Hürlimann is one of Switzerland’s most prolific business strategy experts in the technology, communications, and media field. Acting as an advisor and independent board professional, he helps organisations unlock their business potential. As a private investor and entrepreneur, Andreas Hürlimann combines his vast experience with seed capital to foster the next generation of successful ventures.

During his international executive career of more than 20 years, Andreas Hürlimann headed Spencer Stuart’s global Communications practice and built up the company’s Swiss business to become a national market leader. At Arthur D. Little, he led all of the company’s industry practices as a member of the Global Executive Team. Prior to consulting, Andreas Hürlimann managed large-scale industrial projects at leading global companies, such as ABB, Siemens and Oerlikon, out of Switzerland, North-America and Asia.

Andreas Hürlimann holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Zurich Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Finance from University of Zurich.

Provided operational support in marketing & sales, IP strategy and management, R&D (CTI projects), finance & controlling, recruiting, CEO on-boarding. Defined exit strategy, evaluated M&A partner, set-up auction process and closed successfully.
